StarDrive® methodology is based on three principals:

He who becomes aware of what motivates him, can be self-motivated. Being happy in the workplace is a choice and an individual responsibility.

When acknowledging that not everybody motivates based on the same reasons, people can be more respectful when others who don’t feel the same, drive results through different and innovative ways, and be able to better coordinate with others.

The steps of the methodology are:

  • Self-knowledge based on StarDrive® Test
  • Respect others way of being. Suggested reading: ‘How on Earth do I motive my Team?’.
  • Acknowledgment of your own way of being, in comparison with others. Review StarDrive® group graph that appears on the StarDrive® platform.
  • Agreements and commitments on how to leverage on the strengths of each motivator. Teambuilding session

With more than 10 year-based research, we found that core motivators can be grouped in 6:

WINNING – Joy for competing and focusing on getting results

LEARNING – Joy for personal development, research and teaching

ATTENTION – Joy of highlighting your person and your achievements

BEING NEEDED – Joy of belonging and helping others

CONTROL – Joy for defining paths, making decisions and managing information

SECURITY / ASSURENESS – joy behind order, planning and following guidelines
